Our Rates & Charges Explained

• Servicing are fixed prices, the price you see is the price you pay, the only extra will be the cost of any service parts we supply and fit.
• Boiler repairs are treated differently and charged for by the hour, therefore the final bill will be for the total time taken from arrival to diagnosis and final completion of the repair, as with servicing any parts and materials will be charged as extra.
• The hourly rate which will apply to repairs can be found in the list above. if you have any pricing queries please feel free to send us a message via our contact page.
• To put your mind at ease we are not inconsiderate of our customers concerns, so please read on to find out more.
• If we cannot diagnose the reason for the failure of your gas appliance and therefore not provide a solution theres no charge.
• If you choose our standard boiler repair option the minimum charge will be for one hour at our normal rates shown above.
• If your repair including diagnosis takes longer than an hour, additional hours taken will be charged at our normal hourly rate, however additional hours are charged by the minute, see example below for clarity.
• Example:- Your repair takes one hour 10 minutes to complete, you will pay the minimum charge which is 1 hour at our normal rate of £99 plus 10 minutes worth of the next hour which is £16.50, so Total bill excluding parts £115.50.
• VAT is not payable on labour but VAT is payable in the cost of any parts & materials used, however it will be charged by the shop who originally sold them. For this reason we do not give our customers a VAT receipt.
• Additional customer safeguards with reference to maintenance and repairs include where after diagnosis a repair is a known quantity, by that it is meant that it is just one specific part which needs to be exchanged we can if requested give you a quoted price or where multiple issues are apparant an estimate instead. However for this you should choose the Basic Gas Boiler Repair option instead of the Standard Boiler repair Option, as this will be a cheaper option for you, see prices shown above .
• For larger works such as boiler exchanges Instant Boiler Quotes Available, powerflushing, heating upgrades etc this will often involve a free survey and we will provide a quotation or estimate as appropriate.
• Finally if on completion of a diagnosis and provision of an estimate or quotation you decide that for whatever reason you do not want to go ahead, you will only be liable for charges accrued to that point. Where your decision is based on the boiler system or other being beyond economical repair and you employ us to complete the exchange we will take the cost of your diagnostic visit into consideration when completing the replacement estimate or quotation.
